Blush, published in 2021, received recognition from People magazine, USA Today, Real Simple and Good Morning America.

In keeping with the wine theme, attendees will be treated to tastings of a selection of wines—including the book’s namesake also known as rose—coordinated by Friends member Manika Ghose, a longstanding Library patron. ONEHOPE produces its wines under the mission “Pour with a Purpose.” ONEHOPE has donated more than $11 million to education, hunger and clean water causes since 2014. The library will receive 10% of bottle sales at the event and sales continue online for those who can’t attend until Nov 4.

Crestwood Library will turn 100 years old in October 2026 so celebrations, programming and special events will span from now through 2026. The library was founded by a group of women living in the Crestwood section of Yonkers and has grown to be a community center for literacy and learning.

Brenner is the bestselling author of seven novels including Blush. After raising two daughters in New York City, she now lives in Bucks County, PA—the inspiration for her next book The Weekend Crashers, due for release Nov 4, This new book is about a mother-daughter knitting retreat gone awry. It gets knotty in this humorous and poignant novel about love, second chances and the strong bonds between mothers and daughters.

Brenner grew up on the blockbuster novels penned by Judith Krantz and Jackie Collins, the gothic horror of Anne Rice, and political thrillers by Nelson DeMille.

Friends of Crestwood Library (FOCL) is sponsoring the evening. FOCL is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Crestwood Library of the Yonkers Public Library System.
