
Join the Human Rights Commission at the Yonkers Riverfront Library on Thursday, January 15th beginning at 5:30 p.m. for a FILM SCREENING of “Brick by Brick: A Civil Rights Story”,a 2007 documentary about the contentious battle for school and housing integration in Yonkers. This landmark local civil rights battle is known nationally.(Watch the film trailer here)
Following the film screening of “Brick by Brick”, there will be a panel discussion with the film’s producer, William Kavanagh; Westchester County Human Rights Commission Fair Housing Director, Joshua Levin; and Director of the Westchester County Office of Housing Counsel, George Asante.
