Former Mt. Vernon Mayor Andre Wallace Honored With President’s Lifetime Achievement

Former Mount Vernon Mayor André Wallace was honored with the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award on December 9th in Mount Vernon.

This prestigious award, bestowed by President Joe Biden, recognizes Wallace’s outstanding contributions to community service and his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of others.

The President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, also known as the President’s Call to Service Award, is a highly distinguished honor reserved for Americans who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to volunteerism and civic engagement. Wallace’s tireless efforts throughout his career have made a lasting impact on Mount Vernon and beyond.

“This is an honor to receive such a prestigious award for the years of community service.
