John R. Ahearn, Chief Executive Officer, and the Board of Directors of the Field Hall Foundation are pleased to announce the promotion of Patti Lavan Horvath from Program Officer to Executive Director, effective July 1, 2026.
Since helping establish the Foundation in 2019, Horvath has played a central role in shaping its grantmaking strategy, strengthening community partnerships, and advancing its mission to improve the lives of older adults throughout Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties.
“Patti’s dedication, vision, and deep understanding of both the Foundation’s history and its future opportunities make her exceptionally qualified to lead the organization,” said John R. Ahearn. “From the Foundation’s earliest days, she has been instrumental in building an organization that has awarded more than $5.5 million in grants to support older adults and strengthen our communities. The Board is delighted to appoint her as Executive Director and looks forward to her continued leadership.”
“I am honored by the Board’s confidence in me and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Executive Director,” said Horvath. “Having been part of the Foundation from the beginning, I have witnessed firsthand the extraordinary impact our nonprofit partners make every day. I look forward to building on the Foundation’s strong legacy and working alongside our grantees, community leaders, and Board members to expand opportunities and improve lives throughout our region.”
