By Dennis Richmond Jr.

On Friday, October 6th, 2023, Drake, the 36 year old Canadian born rapper and singer, released his eighth studio album, For All the Dogs. The album features artists like SZA, J. Cole, Bad Bunny, and Sexxy Red, to name a few.

The 20+ -track album solidifies Drake’s status as being an icon in the rap game. The artwork was made by his son, who is only a child. Both Drake and his son will be celebrating birthdays this month.

Although the new album is out and people across the world are talking about it, Drake decided to step away from music to focus on himself. According to Hot97, Drake said, “I probably won’t make music for a little bite… I need to focus on my health…”

Regardless of how long Drake decides to break from music, one thing is for sure: His name is the rap game is solidified-forever.
