Dr Ruth Visits Untermyer Gardens Grand Illimination

Dr Ruth Westheimer, paid a visit to Untermyer Gardens Grand Illumination on Dec. 27. Dr. Ruth, who is 93 years young, called Mayor Mike Spano, who explains, “I received a delightful call from Dr. Ruth commenting how much she, her daughter and son-in-law enjoyed their visit to Untermyer Gardens’ Grand Holiday Illumination this past weekend. Dr. Ruth was impressed by the majesty of the Gardens, the Menorah Lights and the delicious hot chocolate. Thank you, Dr. Ruth, for your visit to The City of Yonkers and appreciation of our city’s finest gem.”

The Grand Illumination is closed for the year, but there will be lots going on at Untermyer Gardens soon.
