JCC Mid Westchester: MLK Day of Service Food Drive
Join the JCC Mid Westchester on January 20, any time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and combat food injustice by assembling Blizzard Boxes. Assemble a full non-perishable meal (a Blizzard Box) and craft a personalized note to accompany it. Participants will also explore the Jewish community’s connection to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his teachings. All ages are welcome! JCC Mid Westchester, 999 Wilmot Rd., Scarsdale, NY 10583. The Sharing Shelf: MLK Day of Service Community Clothing Sort
Join The Sharing Shelf in Port Chester on January 20 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and help sort through donated clothing for community members in need. New and trained volunteers are welcome. This event is open to adults aged 18 years and above and children ages 14-17 with their own parent. Pre-registration is required, absolutely no walk-ins; please also complete this online waiver prior to attending. Space is limited, if you can no longer attend, please delete your registration.
