13-year-old Devarjaye ‘DJ’ Daniel, a teen battling cancer who has been sworn into thousands of law enforcement agencies nationwide, spent an unforgettable day with Yonkers Police Department.
Sworn in as an honorary officer by Yonkers Police Commissioner Sapienza, DJ explored the AWARE Room, met K‑9 units, rode aboard Marine1, and connected with dozens of Yonkers police officers. His courage, determination, and positive spirit continue to inspire everyone he meets, showing that bravery comes in all forms.
