Democrat George Latimer urges New Yorkers to “unify in this moment” and vote for President Biden in Presidential Primary

Democrat George Latimer released a video urging all New Yorkers to vote for President Biden in New York State’s Presidential Primary Election Day. The video, posted on Latimer’s social media accounts, provides a unifying message that underscores the importance of the consequential upcoming general election. Latimer put out the video to counter far-left efforts to undermine President Biden.

Excerpts from the video include the following messages from Democrat George Latimer:

“I am voting for President Biden in New York’s presidential primary and I urge you to join me. President Biden deserves our support as Democrats. He came into office with our nation facing a collapsed economy and a pandemic, which was made worse by science deniers.

“This election is about more than President Biden and his record; it is also about the dangers represented by his opponent. Donald Trump has made it clear that his intention is to override our democracy.

“Some, including allies of my opponent, suggested that Democrats should withhold support for President Biden because they do not like his commitment to the state of Israel. Please do not do this. We cannot allow these debates to divide us and pave the way for Donald Trump to return to office. Let’s be unified in this moment in history.”

Latimer, who has been endorsed by 11 local Democratic committees in the 16th CD (compared to zero for the incumbent), is a proven Democratic champion, having flipped his County legislature from Red to Blue, flipped the County Executive from red to blue, and strongly supported efforts to flip the State Senate from red to blue.
