Councilwoman Pineda-Isaac Hosts 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Yonkers City Councilwoman Corazon Pineda-Isaac hosted her 7th annual 3-on- 3 Basketball tournament, on Nov. 19. “This is the first hosting it at the beautiful Dayspring Community Center gymnasium. Every single participant got a free t-shirt and went home with a brand new basketball. And of course we had plenty of drinks, snacks and pizza while we were there. Winners went home with trophies and Amazon gift cards. Thank you to everyone that helped make this possible, including Westhab, Yonkers Fire Local 628, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, State Senator Shelley Mayer, Mayor Mike Spano, Councilman John Rubbo, Yonkers Federation of Teachers, Fidelis, and ShopRite. Thank you also to all the volunteers who showed up to help out! It was indeed a great day. Tom Meier you and your team rock,” said Pineda-Isaac, who had a good turnout for the tournament.
