Congratulations to Nazir Fields, Yonkers Force QB from 2024, who has been named the Yonkers Rising and Yonkerstimes.com player of the year. Nazir played in six games in 2024 for the Force, and threw for 1180 yards, and rushed for 880 yards.
Nazir was the MVP for the Superintendent’s Cup Game last year between the Yonkers Force and the Yonkers Brave. He was also named All League and All Section.
Nazir had offers to attend Western Connecticut State, McDaniels College, Salve Regina University and SUNY Morrisville. He has committed to attend SUNY Morrisville and play football.
“Nazir is a special student-athlete. It has been a pleasure watching him play and seeing him do amazing things on the field. We thank him for his hard work and dedication to the program. Everyone is excited to see him do great things at the next level at SUNY Morrisvile,” said Force Coach Anthony Fava.
Nazir dominated the football field for two years in Yonkers. He was named Yonkers Rising-Yonkerstimes.com player of the year last year as well.
