On June 3, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano announced the launch of the City’s new redesigned municipal website, available at www.yonkersny.gov. In collaboration with the City’s Department of Information Technology and website provider CivicPlus, www.yonkersny.gov features integrated technology solutions exclusively created for local governments that are more user-friendly, accessible and mobile-responsive.

“With this newly designed website, we will better communicate and engage with residents, businesses and visitors,” said Mayor Spano. “More importantly, this site serves as an extension to our departments, improving administrative efficiencies and transparency through its set of robust features, a well-designed layout and functionality.”

The improved www.yonkersny.gov website features easy access to:

•       Mobile devices/apps

•       Online bill pay

•       FOIL requests

•       Job postings

•       Apply for licenses and permits; information on passport applications

“In deciding to upgrade the City website, it was important to focus on how it would work with mobile devices,” said Bob Cacace, Commissioner, Yonkers Department of Information Technology. “We know that residents rely more and more on their phones as communication tools and the upgraded website is built to better facilitate mobile devices and evolving technology.”

“CivicPlus is built on designing innovative solutions for local governments,” said Jennifer Elliott, CivicPlus Director of Product Marketing. “We continually invest in our products to strengthen and transform the way local governments work and communicate with their residents and are proud to partner with the City of Yonkers to help them accomplish their goals.”

With over 7,500 local government customers, the CivicPlus Civic Experience platform contains integrated and comprehensive multi-product suite capabilities, that connect municipal employees and elected officials with the residents they represent and serve.
