City of Yonkers Launches New Online Property Tax Info Portal

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today announced the launch of the City’s new free online property tax information portal allowing residents to view their property tax information and continue to pay their property tax bills online.

The website is available at https://yonkers.municipaltaxpayments.com.


“In the new age of technology amid a global pandemic, we want to eliminate as much travel as possible, making it easier for residents to view their property tax bills while encouraging them to pay it online,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “The new online property tax information portal reaffirms Yonkers’ commitment to finding innovative ways to better serve all who live and work in our city.”


Mayor Spano added, “The portal allows for even more accessibility, making information readily available at your fingertips. While residents are always welcomed to City Hall, the new platform gives property owners the option to view their tax information, pay their bills, and answers many of their questions, saving them time and making the trip to City Hall.”

Online Property Tax Portal Benefits:
· FREE, no cost looks up from anywhere.
· Eliminate travel to City Hall for property lookups (account number(s), block/lot, etc.), property tax inquires, and payment information.
· Real-time payment information for all current and past due cycles, including up to date interest due on an outstanding balance.
· All liens are included on the parcel for a complete overview of what is owed.
(NOTE: No calculations or payments of liens will be available. Please contact the City of Yonkers Tax Office at 914-377-6138).
· Access to print property tax bills.

Options For Tax Payments:
· Pay online at https://paydirect.link2gov.com/YonkersTaxPay/ItemSearch using an E-Check providing your checking account information. This option is FREE.
· Pay online at https://paydirect.link2gov.com/YonkersTaxPay/ItemSearch using a credit card. Paying with a credit card has a 2.5% convenience fee collected by a third-party vendor that provides the City of Yonkers’ online payment service.
· Mail a check or money order directly to

Note: Property tax payments for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 can be paid online at https://paydirect.link2gov.com/YonkersTaxPay/ItemSearch. Property owners owing property taxes beyond the last two years can look up their past due balances but must pay in person at Yonkers City Hall or mail a check to the City of Yonkers Tax Department.
