The Westchester Chapter of Chamber of Mothers, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing maternal rights in America, will host a “Share, Swap and Connect” event on Saturday, May 17th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grinton I. Will Public Library in Yonkers.
This community-focused gathering offers families an opportunity to exchange gently used baby and children’s clothing while connecting with other parents in the area. The event also provides a chance to learn about Chamber of Mothers’ work advocating for paid family leave, improved maternal health outcomes, and affordable childcare.
“Our members wanted to host this event to create a meaningful way for families to help each other while reducing waste and supporting sustainable practices,” said Rachel Nugent, Westchester Chapter Facilitator of Chamber of Mothers. “We welcome everyone with children ages 0-12 to attend and find new homes for outgrown essentials, while building connections with other parents navigating similar stages of family life.”
All remaining items not swapped at the event will be donated to The United Breast Care Foundation. Attendees are not required to bring donations to participate, and the event is free and open to the public.

About Chamber of Mothers: The Chamber of Mothers is a national nonpartisan 501(c)(3) that regularly reaches up to 50 million mothers across the United States through local chapter advocacy and federal public policy work. We unite mothers as advocates to create a better America – one we wish to bestow upon our children and live in now. Mobilizing a broad group of moms at the local, state, and federal levels, we push collectively toward three goals: paid family and medical leave; affordable, accessible child care; and vastly improved maternal health outcomes.
