Celebration of Irish Dance on St. Patrick’s Day At Will Library

A Celebration of Irish Dance featuring students from the Deidre O’Mara School of Irish Dance will take place on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Yonkers Public Library, Will Library, 1500 Central Park Avenue in Yonkers. Admission is free of charge, seating is in the 325 seat auditorium at the library and no reservations are required.

Deirdre O’ Mara School of Irish dance is in its 27th year & has from beginners to world champion dancers. The school has dancers just back from Taiwan where they toured with Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance.

To celebrate St Patrick’s day at the Will Library, Deirdre will bring some of her world champion dancers to perform and to tell the story of Irish dance from Olden days to the pageantry of it’s current form.
