Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) will host their 20th Annual Advocacy Breakfast in October with the theme: “Beyond the Silo: Building Connected Systems for Every Child.” The Kathryn Wasserman Davis Child Advocacy Lecture will be delivered by keynote speaker Dr. DaMia Harris-Madden, Commissioner of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). The event will take place on Tuesday, October 20 at 8:00 AM at the Harrison Meadows Country Club, located at 123 North Street in Harrison, NY. This year’s breakfast is sponsored by WMC Health Maria Ferrari Children’s Hospital and Hudson Valley Credit Union and will focus on building connected systems that work better for every child. By bringing together advocates, policymakers, community leaders, and child-serving professionals, the breakfast will foster a meaningful conversation about collaboration and the systems that shape children’s lives.
“Every fall, WCA gathers parents, educators, community members, government officials, and other key stakeholders to address a pressing issue affecting children.
