Yes Yonkers football fans the big game will take place this Friday night, September 24th, at Roosevelt HS. Kick off will be at 6pm. Seating for the game is very limited and if you need to buy a ticket you must go to a local Yonkers HS and buy one! Jim Rose the Yonkers Athletic Director has informed me that tickets are extremely scarce as seating for this game is very limited.
The teams played two games last weekend Mamaroneck HS defeated the Yonkers Force last Friday night at Mamaroneck HS 41-8. Atticus Oelkers rushed for 52 yards. Ryan Joseph had 30 yards rushng and 1 touchdown! Also for the Force Mahamed Ali had a fumble recovery. Last Saturday the Yonkers Brave lost to Mount Vernon HS by the score of 30-0. Both teams are getting better each week and we hope this week’s game is a good one.
