As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, at Yonkers Rising, the spotlight shines brightly on folks like Cienna Rose, Tajé Dean, and Kierra Carter, whose stories epitomize resilience, creativity, and empowerment. Hailing from diverse Black backgrounds and pursuing distinct paths, these remarkable individuals inspire and uplift others through dedication to their communities and their passions.

Cienna Rose, a 23-year-old Black trans content creator from Yonkers, NY, embodies resilience and empowerment. Through her social media platforms, she spreads awareness and information about the trans community, serving as a beacon of hope for future generations. Having overcome personal struggles, Cienna exemplifies the strength and growth of trans women, inspiring others to embrace their identities with pride and confidence.

Tajé Dean, a 25-year-old artist in Aurora, IL, reflects the essence of creativity and self-expression. With a background in architecture, Tajé finds beauty in bringing imagination to life through art, inspiring others to see the world through their unique perspectives. Through his passion for art, Tajé embodies the spirit of innovation and individuality, enriching the cultural landscape with his creative vision.

Kierra Carter, a 28-year-old therapist, author, and motivational speaker in Greensboro, NC, dedicates her life to empowering others. With a calling to guide individuals toward their purpose, Kierra’s authenticity and relatability resonate with those seeking guidance and inspiration. Through her work, Kierra instills confidence and self-discovery, illuminating the path toward personal growth and fulfillment.

In a world where diversity, equity, and inclusion are challenged, the stories of Cienna Rose, Tajé Dean, and Kierra Carter serve as powerful reminders of Black excellence.
