Bee Line Bus Shooter in Yonkers a Juvenile, Wanted by West. Police, May Be Gang Related

Westchester County Police continue their investigation into a shooting on a Bee Line Bus in Yonkers on October 7. The incident occurred at 5pm on South Broadway on a No. 4 bus. As the bus stopped at Ludlow Street to discharge passengers, two shots were fired inside the bus.

One shot missed the intended victim and went into a seat. The second bullet hit the intended victim in one leg and exited and struck his other leg. The victim is stable and expected to fully recover.

But the shooter has not yet been located or interviewed by the Westchester County Police, who are the lead law enforcement agency in this case because the incident happened on a county bus.

The person of interest is believed to be a juvenile and has not been located to be interviewed. Some indications from the incident point to the shooting being gang related, but the investigation continues.
