Aerosmith Founding Member to Host Show to Benefit Disabled American Vets-Pete’s Saloon Elmsford Nov. 10

Ray Tabano, a founding member of Aerosmith and a Yonkers resident is hosting a fundraiser for Disabled American Veterans Chapter #23. Ray and his childhood friend Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler grew up in northeast Yonkers and attended Roosevelt HS.

Later both moved to Boston and formed Aerosmith with Ray as the bands’s original rhythm guitarist. Ray Tabano has been featured internationally in numerous books, documentary films, tv and radio shows.

This benefit will be held on Sunday Nov. 10th, 2024 – 1PM at Pete’s Saloon, 8 West Main St., Elmsford NY. Admission is $ 20. Guitarist, singer & songwriter Ray Tabano and his Third Step Band, will perform originals and covers of top British hits songs of the 60’s. The show also features a sparkling multi-media presentation of the period along with beginnings of Aerosmith who were influenced by the music of that time.

Tabano’s special guest on Sunday night will be Pat “Elvis ” Perone who will be performing his amazing Elvis Tribute Show. Tabano noted, “ Keep an eye out for some “special guests” that will be dropping by in support of our DAV Vets. This rockin fun filled charitable event will help us help our Veterans. In addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle.

The Disabled American Veterans is an organization created in 1920 by World War I veterans for disabled military veterans of the United States Armed Forces that helps them and their families through various means. It was issued a federal charter by Congress in 1932. It currently has over 1 million members.
