Members of the Yonkers Police Department Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, pictured above, visited City Hall on Feb. 23 and presented one of the organizations face masks to Mayor Michael Spano, 2nd left.
The Yonkers Police Department runs a 12 week course on the YPD and training. It is called the Yonkers Citizen Police Academy. The Alumni Association volunteers their time to sponsor and help out at such functions as”National Night Out”, “Stop and Shake” and Coffee with a Cop”.
