On Wednesday, May 6, Second Grader Titus Kerin was Principal for the Day at The Chapel School. His day consisted of welcoming students on car line, running a Wind Advisory Drill, observing his future 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Goldberg, and signing an executive order granting his class an evening of no homework. He handed out Workers of the Week and 3rd Quarter Honor Roll Certificates before making important announcements at the K-8 Chapel. And then, he read an Easter Story to the Preschool children at a Preschool Chapel Service. After a “power lunch” at Gordy’s in Chester Heights with “former” Principal Schultz, Titus helped to select pictures for a social media post and this press release. Titus won this opportunity at the 2026 Gathering of Friends: A Taste of the Caribbean Gala on March 20. Principal Kerin commented, “My favorite part of the day was enjoying my favorite mac and cheese at Gordy’s!”
