Congressman George Latimer Endorses Wilson Terrero for County Legislator

Congressman George Latimer has endorsed Wilson Terrero for County Legislator in District 17-Yonkers.

“What matters most when you cast a vote for someone?. Wilson Terrero has spent his adult life working for the people of Southwest Yonkers. On the City Council he spurred affordable housing. As a volunteer community leader he expanded programs for seniors and children and helped 2,000 people become citizens. That’s the kind of record that deserves everyone’s support. That’s why I am proud to endorse Wilson Terrero for County Legislature in the 17th District. I look forward to working with him on the issues that matter for a better life for Yonkers families,” said Rep. Latimer.

Terrero, a former Yonkers City Councilman who has been endorsed by the Yonkers Democratic Committee, is running in a Democratic Primary on June 23, against Leslye Oquendo-Thomas.
