Former Lord & Taylor Building in Eastchester Sells for $80 Million

Jeffrey Dunne, David Gavin and Travis Langer of CBRE’s National Retail Partners represented LT Eastchester LLC in the sale of 750 White Plains Road in Eastchester, New York. The team also procured the buyer, 750 White Plains Owner LLC. The sale of 750 White Plains Road follows on the heels of the sale of 110 High Ridge Road, the former Lord & Taylor in Stamford, CT, which is anchored by Whole Foods and sold in October 2025.

750 White Plains Road (Route 22) is a 200,473 SF mixed-use retail and medical property in Eastchester (Scarsdale), NY. The property is 64% leased and anchored by a diverse tenant mix including White Plains Hospital (a member of the Montefiore Health System), Equinox, Cava, Tatte Bakery, Pottery Barn Kids and Williams Sonoma. The property was formerly a Lord & Taylor store, which is in the process of being repositioned into a multi-tenant retail and medical property.

The property comprises over 11 acres in the heart of Lower Westchester County on the Eastchester/Scarsdale border within approximately eight miles of New York City. The incredible affluence surrounding the center is highlighted by average household incomes of $227,000 and home values of $811,000 within three miles of the center.

CBRE’s Jeff Dunne commented, “The center’s highly prominent location within the dominant retail corridor in the market, combined with its strong anchor tenancy and surrounding demographics will help the buyer complete the repositioning and lease-up of the center.”

David Gavin of CBRE added, “We continue to see strong demand in Metro NY for properties like 750 White Plains Road, which provide a unique combination of having stable tenancy with further value-add through lease up of the remaining vacancy.”

CBRE’s Metro NY National Retail Partners is marketing several attractive investments including 44 Main Street, a 23,584 SF value-add property on Main Street in Westport, CT; Rockaway Centers, a 302,000 SF property comprised of three power centers in Rockaway, New Jersey; Livingston Shopping Center, a 138,425 SF center situated on Rt. 10 in Livingston, NJ; and Briarcliff Commons, a 179,539 SF grocer-anchored center in Morris Plains, NJ.

Published reports have the sale price at $80 Million.
