The Enrico Fermi Educational Fund of Yonkers is proud to announce it will award $75,000 in
scholarships to 14 high school seniors during its 63rd Annual Scholarship Breakfast. The event will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Castle Royale in Yonkers, marking over six decades of the organization’s dedicated commitment to academic excellence and Italian-American heritage.
Distinguished Guests & Honorees
The morning’s program features a lineup of prominent regional leaders:
● Master of Ceremonies: The Fund is honored to welcome Mary Calvi, 14-time Emmy Award-winning CBS
New York anchor and First Lady of Yonkers, who will guide the morning’s proceedings.
● Guest Speaker: John Dinelli, Chief Nuclear Officer of Entergy, joins the program to share insights from the pinnacle of professional and scientific achievement.
● 2026 Honoree: The Fund is privileged to recognize Louis A. Picani, President of Teamsters Local 456, for
his career-long service and unwavering dedication to the residents of Westchester County.

This year, 14 recipients were selected for their exceptional leadership and academic rigor. The cohort includes six Yonkers residents, six countywide winners, and two specialized science scholars:
