No Kings Rally-Part III in Yonkers and Hastings-March 28

COMMUNITY RALLY AND MARCH FOR DEMOCRACY

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM, hundreds of residents, advocates, and community organizations will gather for the third iteration of the “No Kings” rally—part of a growing national movement defending democratic values and collective power. The first demonstration took
place on June 14, 2025, in response to what organizers described as an attempt to elevate presidential power beyond democratic norms.

By October 18, 2025, the movement had rapidly expanded nationwide, uniting communities across cities and small towns in coordinated acts of civic resistance. As concerns about the direction of the country continue to grow, so too does the strength and unity of this movement. On March 28, demonstrators will convene simultaneously in Yonkers and Hastings-on-Hudson, marching along Warburton Avenue to meet in solidarity—symbolizing unity across communities in defense of democracy.

Participating Yonkers Community Organizations inclue:
o Concerned Families of Westchester (CFOW)
o NAACP – Yonkers Branch
o NYCD 16/15 Indivisible
o Safeguarding Democracy

The starting point in Yonkers will be at the Hudson Fulton Memorial Park Warburton Avenue at Odell Avenue. In Hastings-on-Hudson, the starting point will be at VFW Plaza Warburton Avenue at Spring Street.

“No Kings III” is anticipated to be one of the largest coordinated protest efforts in recent history, with
demonstrations planned across the country. The movement is rooted in a clear message: power belongs to the people—not to any one individual or office.

Participants from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend and stand in collective defense of democratic
principles, civil liberties
