Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Senator Shelley Mayer to Host Women’s History Month Panel March 27

New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and State Senator Shelley Mayer will host a panel of experts on sustainability and the environment for a Women’s History Month discussion, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” on Friday, March 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Beczak Environmental Education Center. 

The panel will feature: Raya Salter, Energy justice movement attorney, activist, author and Founder and Executive Director of the Energy Justice Law & Policy Center (EJLPC); Courtney Williams, PhD, Westchester Alliance for Sustainable Solutions (WASS); Terry Joshi, Yonkers Green City Advisory Committee; Dr. Diana Williams, Executive Director of Environmental Leaders of Color and CEO of Comrie Enterprises LLC; Nicola Armacost, nationally recognized leader in sustainability, recipient of NYSERDA’s Catalyst Award, and former mayor of Hastings-on-Hudson; and Brianna Rodriguez, Community Adaptation AmeriCorps VISTA, Groundwork Hudson Valley.
