
Jamal Glover
Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced that Jamal Glover, 43, pleaded guilty Wednesday afternoon to murdering 37-year-old Stephan Carson in Yonkers last New Years Day. Glover pleaded guilty to Murder in the Second Degree, an A felony. Sentencing is scheduled for January 15, 2026.
On January 1, 2025, Glover stabbed Stephan Carson to death after an altercation at 2 Hudson Street in Yonkers. Glover was apprehended in White Plains hours after the incident.
DA Cacace said: “In less than twenty-four hours, the investigating officers secured a hectic murder crime scene, identified a suspect, tracked him down and arrested him without incident. I am grateful for the diligent work of these officers and our hard-working prosecutors for bringing closure to this senseless killing.”
This investigation was conducted by the Yonkers Police Department. The White Plains Police Department and the FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force assisted with the arrest.
This case was prosecuted by Bureau Chief Jonathan Strongin, ADA Leigh Wellington and ADA Brianna Ciuffi.
