The Yonkers PAL Team thanks the community for your donations
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano delivered over 400 Thanksgiving dinners to needy families in Yonkers on November 25 at the Yonkers Police Athletic League.
The dinners are supplied by private donations from the Yonkers Police Athletic League (PAL), Yonkers Contracting, ShopRite, Mark Stagg of Stagg Group, PCNY, Valley Oil and Rainbow Restoration. Each donation will consist of turkey and all its fixings. The deserving families were pre-selected by local community-based organizations.
Since coming into office in 2012, Mayor Spano has organized the donations of Thanksgiving dinners to Yonkers families every November.
