Anonymous Donations are the Best Way to Give Back to Those Who Need it Most

From the Ossining Police Department:

So…in the spirit of the holidays, a local family just pulled a Santa-level move on us, minus the red suits and reindeer. They donated a whopping $1,000 in gift cards for us to give out to folks who need a little extra help.

(No, we aren’t keep them. No you can’t have one. Don’t even start, comments section. Looking at you, thirst-trap enthusiasts!)

We tried to give our new heroes a round of applause, maybe a parade, but their only condition was that they remain anonymous.

This was a big-time generous move, but we aren’t that moved, alright? We just have something in our eye. Shut up! Stop looking at us! We aren’t crying…you’re crying!

Happy holidays, Ossining! If you find yourself wondering if there’s still good in the world, there absolutely is…and they just donated a bunch of gift cards.
