Mamdani=Madman

Op-Ed By Frank Spotorno

Hey, fellow New Yorkers, don’t have a meltdown about the loss to a madman’s ideology. For days, I’ve been scribbling articles, and it’s all about “I want what I want”, but apparently, that’s too much to ask from Sliwa and Cuomo, who didn’t put our Republic first, you know, that whole core of our Democratic principles, and the city of New York came second.

Sliwa and Cuomo knew they’d split the vote, but hey, too many other geniuses came out and said Cuomo initially lost the democratic primary because only 13% of people bothered to vote. Well, surprise, surprise: on election night, 40% of eligible voters couldn’t be bothered.

Even with nearly two million voters—an all-time high—42% voting for Cuomo, it wasn’t enough to beat Mamdani’s crazy socialist mallet. It just shows people are frustrated, inflation is skyrocketing, the cost of living is in crisis mode, and NYC is a mess.

We’re going to have someone lead a $118 billion industry into bankruptcy —because why not? He’s got zero experience, unless you count running a lemonade stand, which, let’s be real, is not the same as running a municipality the size of a small country. It’s a joke, folks. I mean, what’s next?

The New York State Board of Elections is letting someone run for office as a State Assemblyman after being a citizen for, like, five minutes? Oh, wait, that already happened with Zohran. No background check? No allegiance to our founding principles? No problem, I guess.

So, all you homeowners out there, go ahead and put your homes up for sale, see if anyone’s dumb enough to buy them now that property taxes are going to be through the roof to pay for Mamdani’s circus of free bus rides and other wacky services.

And don’t even get me started on taxing the wealthy, because, you know, that’s got to go through the state legislature and get the governor’s stamp of approval, which, good luck with that. It’s not going to happen. New York City’s homeowners will foot the bill for Zohran’s incoming circus to arrive on January 1st, 2026—some happy new year.

Now, going further, we lost interest in these wacky tariffs that have been plaguing our wallets and handbags; they are like the ultimate party foul, causing the Democrats to sweep the Republican Party under the rug. We lost pretty much every election in the country. Is it worth getting a few extra hundred billion dollars from consumers and losing our grip on the Republican agenda? Hmm, tough one.
