Congratulations to the 2025 Yonkers Idol, Okello Allen, and the Yonkers Junior Idol, Angelina Moreno. The finals were held on June 14 at Saunders High School.
Parks Commissioner Steve Sansone welcomed the crowd, and Marian Marji was the Mistress of Ceremonies.

Yonkers Idol Okello Allen is a student at Saunders High School. Junior Idol Angelina Morena is a student at School 5. Both received a $1,000 stipend courtesy of UPAC’s Tersesa Fund.
Moreno sang I Need a Hero, ” and Allen sang Sir Duke. Both will now perform at events across the city for the next year.
And who knows, maybe one or both 2025 Idols will follow in some of their alumni footsteps to American Idol.
