On August 3, ALS Ice Bucket Challenge co-founder and Yonkers native Pat Quinn led hundreds of participants at Empire City Casino – and thousands across the country – in the fifth annual Ice Bucket Challenge on Aug. 3. Proceeds from donations go to ALS research organizations.

Since Quinn co-founded the global phenomenon more than five years ago, shortly after his diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, significant advances in ALS research have been made, including new technology that allows individuals affected by ALS to regain their voice.

Quinn has shared his courageous battle with the public, and has been a role model for all of us on how to live our lives. Visit Q4TW.com for more information.
