Simone Development Joins with Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano to Welcome Italian Oven Restaurant to Boyce Thompson Center

Executives from Simone Development Companies joined with Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and the owners of Italian Oven for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 12 to celebrate the grand opening of Italian Oven at the Boyce Thompson Center.

“Italian Oven is family owned and operated. My brother and myself are the owners and my two daughters Nicoletta and Cristina, and my brother’s two daughters Amanda and Angelina will be running the restaurant,” said Owner Anna Maria Oppedisano. “We will be serving a variety of different pizzas along with deliciously prepared pasta dishes stemming from Southern Italy. We take pride in our hospitality and the quality ingredients in our food,” she added.

“We are delighted to welcome Italian Oven to our growing roster of retail tenants at the Boyce Thompson Center. These businesses are a great amenity not only for those who work at the Boyce Thompson Center and for patients visiting our medical tenants, but for the entire surrounding Yonkers community,” said Joe Simone, President of Simone Development Companies.

Located at 1084-1088 North Broadway, the Boyce Thompson Center is an 85,000-square-foot mixed-use property featuring medical offices, retail shops and restaurants. The center offers free parking and a grand outdoor plaza with public seating. Medical tenants include St. John’s Riverside Hospital, Westmed Medical Group/Summit Health, Columbia Doctors, Mount Sinai Doctors, ENT and Allergy Associates, Motion PT, Metro Vein Centers, Gastroenterology of Westchester and Riverside Dental. Retail tenants include Tompkins Mahopac Bank, Soyo Nails, Hudson River Vision, Family Wellness Pharmacy, Juvanni Med Spa, Family Wellness Pharmacy, The Taco Project, Enbu Asian Fusion, Starbucks, Executive Wine & Spirits and Fresh & co.
