LM Lions Support Pediatric Cancer Foundation

LM Lions Secretary Diane Oldham, LM Lion and Pediatric Cancer Ambassador Nancy Joselson, Sedona’s Bill Jablonski and LM Lions Treasurer John Lyons

The LM Lions teamed up with Mamaroneck’s Sedona Taphouse’s Mondays Dine Out for Charity in support of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation (PCF).  Sedona dedicates a full month of Mondays throughout the year in support of local charities and service groups. For the month of February, Sedona raised $696, with an additional $1500 raised from related online donations.  Combined with the Lions support, nearly $3,000 was raised for PCF.

Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization that raises funds for groundbreaking research and early phase clinical trials to eradicate childhood cancer. These trials are conducted by world renowned doctors at the hospitals PCF supports. Pediatric Cancer Foundation contributes to the following hospitals: New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center; Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center; Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at NYU Langone Health; Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research/Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, Northwell Health; Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center; Comer Children’s Hospital, University of Chicago Medicine; The Tisch Cancer Center, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Mount Sinai Health System; The Ohio State University College of Medicine/ The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital;  Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; Johns Hopkins University; and The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. For more information about PCF and to donate go to: www.pcfcares.org

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions mission is to support – with funding, volunteers & advocacy, local service groups by bringing community leaders together to determine needs, resources & achieve solutions. The LM Lions are part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization of over 1.4 million members.
