County entrepreneurship program offers tech startups — ranging from medtech, fintech, proptech, healthtech, sustainability, robotics, SaaS to AI-focused — a platform for growth, funding and guidance
Westchester County, New York (February 13, 2025) – Westchester County’s Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by QUAY Acceleration is currently accepting applications for its spring 2025 cohort, which will begin in March. Each startup selected will experience a world-class accelerator program that features a powerful curriculum, connections to entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and full-time support from the Element 46 staff. The program will culminate with a Demo Day in June 2025, where each participant will have the opportunity to pitch their venture to a room full of investors, technology experts, press representatives, government officials and other key contacts. Applications are due by March 10.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “The Element 46 Tech Accelerator is a launching pad for startups who are looking to scale. Our program seamlessly blends education and mentorship to propel ventures forward while growing their networks. I encourage all Westchester County entrepreneurs who have tech-driven startups to learn more about this unique opportunity.”
Westchester County Director of Economic Development Bridget Gibbons said: “The Element 46 Tech Accelerator has become a destination for Westchester tech entrepreneurs who are looking to take their ventures to new heights. We are proud to have supported eight cohorts of enterprising entrepreneurs through this innovative program and look forward to welcoming our newest group of participants this March.”
Westchester County Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Deborah Novick said: “Being admitted to the Element 46 Tech Accelerator has become an increasingly competitive process. Many of our graduates have advanced from having an MVP or beta to securing funding, hiring staff, and establishing a larger presence in their marketplace. Regardless of your startup’s tech focus – medtech, fintech, proptech, healthtech, etc. – you can benefit from the resources and connections that participants gain during their Element 46 experience.”
QUAY Acceleration Co-Founder, John Lynn, said: “The Fall 2024 cohort brought together exceptional startups across Robotics, AI, SaaS, Wellness, HealthTech, and Sustainability. Many have secured funding, expanded their teams, and been featured on platforms including Nasdaq and Forbes. With a focus on fostering innovation, the program has helped participants achieve notable successes. Collectively, alumni startups created more than 80 jobs. Founders of the program have raised over $31.4 million since the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey and post program. As we continue to strengthen Westchester’s startup ecosystem, we are excited that applications for the Spring 2025 cohort are now open and we look forward to welcoming the next cohort of innovative entrepreneurs.”
Members of each Element 46 Tech Accelerator cohort are selected in a competitive, County-wide selection process. Up to 12 tech startups from across the County are chosen for each cohort and must feature committed founders with at least a prototype of their technology or tech-enabled product. In the past, selected startups have additionally been investor-backed, grant-funded, and/or revenue-generating operations. Applications for Spring 2025 will be reviewed on a rolling basis and interested parties must apply by March 10 to be considered for the cohort. A virtual info session, which is open to all potential applicants, will take place on February 24th at 5PM. Visit https://www.element46.org/e46-accelerator-info-session to register.
In the program, each founder is matched with hand-picked mentors who are leaders in technology, finance, business strategy, venture capital, marketing, and other key areas. Participants also gain access to a world-class curriculum on fundraising, customer development, executive management, product iteration, branding, marketing, and more.
The Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by QUAY Acceleration runs for 10 weeks every spring and fall. This will be the fifth cohort produced in partnership with QUAY Acceleration, experts in tech accelerator programming and operations.
