The Westchester County Chapter of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) is excited to announce a Voter Registration Drive at Manhattanville University aimed at engaging students in the democratic process. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, where the NCNW will set up a voter registration table and promote the importance of civic engagement.
Representatives from NCNW will discuss the critical role of voting, particularly for Gen Z, in shaping the nation’s future. This initiative is part of a broader movement for National Voter Registration Day, encouraging young voters to get involved in the electoral process.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Clark Center at Manhattanville University and provide students with the opportunity to register to vote, ensuring that their voices are heard in our democracy,” said Lynda Bagley, President of the Westchester County Chapter of NCNW.
