LWVW will be hosting moderated candidate forums for the countywide contested races in the June Primary. Thus far, LWVW has secured candidate participation in the Westchester County District Attorney Democratic race and the U.S. Congressional District 16 Democratic race.
LWVW stands ready to schedule a candidate forum for U.S. Congressional District 16 Republican race but has not received a reply from all of the candidates. In accordance with league policy, no candidate forum will proceed without the participation of at least two candidates.
The Democratic and Republican races for U.S. Congressional District 17 (upper Westchester and parts of Rockland, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties) are uncontested.
