The Putnam County Composite Squadron, Aux of the US Air Force is raising money toward $17/each wreaths for Wreaths Across America. Donations must be collected by Nov 22. We will be holding an in person fundraiser Nov 19 at All Seasons Wines & Spirits at 3333 Crompond Rd in Yorktown (next to BJs) starting 11am.
In total, 259,000 sponsored veterans’ wreaths are needed to reach the goal of placing a wreath on every eligible marker at Arlington National Cemetery. Wreaths Across America is an American nonprofit organization established in 2007 by wreath producer Morrill Worcester to distributr Veteran’s wreaths for placement on graves in military cemeteries.
