Members of the Yonkers Police Department are presently investigating a shooting incident that occurred at about 8:20 PM this evening in the area of 55 Morris Street. Two victims sitting in a black sedan were shot at through the driver’s window: the first victim, a 19-year-old male resident of Yonkers, was struck at least two times including once in the chest – First Responders rendered CPR and he was brought to a local area hospital where he died from his injuries; the second victim, an 18-year-old resident of Yonkers, was struck at least one time in the leg – he was brought to a local area trauma center in stable condition and is expected to recover.
