Letters to the Editor: Income Tax, RFK Jr. and More

To the Editor:

Most American Citizens Have No Legal Obligation To File Returns Or Pay The Personal Income Tax.

Why is the federal government in cooperation with the federal judicial system working so hard to deny me a jury trial through motions to dismiss? In my opinion, it is because our government officials refuse to respond to five questions. More than 500+ questions have also been developed by tax professionals, attorneys, and IRS whistleblower with over 25 years of research. Our federal government refuses to answer or respond to, a jury trial would demand a response.

Five of the basic questions that would require an answer are:

1.) Why is the government unable to cite the specific US law or regulation that legally obligate every American citizen to file returns, or makes them liable for the income tax?

2.) How can the government force you to waive your fifth amendment (Miranda) rights as -you do-each time you sign and file your tax return under oath?

3.) Why have the government and the courts repeatedly refused to acknowledge, irrefutable evidence that the 16th (federal reserve and income tax) amendment to the constitution was ratified via fraud and even if valid does not apply to the average citizen?

4.) How can citizens be charged with a crime for failure to follow a law that is so complex and vague even government “experts”can’t explain it?

5.) How can the IRS administratively seize your bank account or home without a valid court order, and in direct violation of your constitutional right to due process of law?

Letter to the Editor:

I read with great interest your story about the recent announcement of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to seek the Democratic Party’s Presidential nomination next year.

With last month’s announcement by writer/activist Marianne Williamson (and 2020 candidate for the Democratic Party Presidential nomination) and incumbent President Biden’s expected announcement, this sets up a probable three way race for the Democrats. No other prominent Democrat, such as Senators Warren and Sanders, nor Rep. (AOC) Ocasio-Cortez, will likely seek the Presidential nod in ‘24.

While President Biden’s approval ratings hover in the mid-40 per cent range, he enjoys strong support among Democrats — I note that most democratically-elected world leaders are in the 40 per cent range.

There is a significant number of progressive Democrats, and they will likely vote for either RFK, Jr. or Ms. Williamson, but they are not likely to pose a serious challenge to President Biden. RFK, Jr. or Ms. Williamson might receive many votes in New Hampshire. However, the Democratic primary calendar was recently changed by the DNC to allow the larger and Southern states to go first, ahead of Iowa and New Hampshire, and where President Biden enjoys strong support among voters of color. As of now, I do not expect either RFK, Jr. or Ms. Williamson to score any upsets; however, if they draw 10-15 per cent of progressive Democrats, these voters might be inclined to vote for a Green/Progressive Presidential candidate, with the potential of tipping the balance in a close Presidential election. Time will tell.

To the editor,

Our community has been experiencing the effects of climate change, and I worry about the future and the climate extremes that coming generations will experience. April is “Earth Month,” and the theme this year is “Invest in People and the Planet.” So, I wonder why big banks like Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, and Wells Fargo, are still investing in the expansion of dirty fossil fuels that are causing such climate destruction.

According to the report Banking on Climate Chaos, these banks have invested more than $1 trillion in fossil fuels since 2016! The recent IPCC report says that “feasible, effective, and low-cost solutions” are readily available but aren’t being scaled-up at the necessary speed. This Spring, the big banks should adopt the pending shareholder resolutions on climate change at their annual meetings and commit to accelerating their investments in clean energy and divest from coal, oil, and gas.

Sincerely,, Christopher Kohlman, Yonkers

Editor’s Note: The most urgent environmental matter for Westchester residents is the planned dumping of Nuclear Waste into the Hudson. This publication wonders if anyone will lead an effort to boycott Holtec, the owner of Indian Point Power Plant and the company planning the dump.
Our view is that if Holtec wants to dump in the Hudson, then Hudson Valley residents, and residents on Cape Cod (another planned dumping site) should dump Holtec stock.
Anyone interested in this effort can email us at dmurphy@risingmediagroup.com
