Experience beer & BBQ, family-friendly activations, and more at annual fall event in Yonkers
Grab your pumpkin spice lattes and favorite cozy sweaters and make your way to Ridge Hill on the third Saturday in October for the annual Ridgetoberfest. This year the iconic celebration is returning at full-scale for the first time since 2019, and guests are invited to experience themed food and beverage offerings, pumpkin-carving, live music, and other family-friendly activities at the mixed-use destination in Yonkers.
During Ridgetoberfest, Ridge Hill’s central Market Street will be blocked off for pedestrian-only traffic from H&M to the Fountain Plaza. The event officially kicks off on Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. with an outdoor beer garden provided by the Bronx Beer Hall, smoked BBQ fare from Father & Son’s Kitchen, photo-worthy roaming entertainment, and face painting. Maniac Pumpkin will also host carving demonstrations and lead guests in a step-by-step tutorial to create their own pumpkins to take home. Ridge Hill tenants are joining the autumn fun, too, offering pop-up activations such as paint demonstrations with Muse Paintbar, a putting contest and giveaways with The Cup, spin the wheel to win with Monster Mini Golf and Healthy Holic, and more.
No Ridgetoberfest celebration would be complete without live music to get the crowd up on their dancing feet. The Lawrence Trailer band will perform on the main stage near the Fountain Plaza from 3 to 7 p.m. Once the fall festivities come to an end and the band plays their final tune, guests are encouraged to visit additional restaurants at Ridge Hill and cheers! to a happy season ahead.
