One Million Fentanyl Pills Seized in Arizona

Great Police Work by the Phoenix Police and the DEA, when on Sept. 21 they made the largest Fentanyl seizure when they took more than one million Fentanyl Pills off the streets.

Phoenix police detectives with the Drug Enforcement Bureau have made the single largest fentanyl
bust in Phoenix police history. Two men have been arrested in connection to the seizure which netted
more than one million fentanyl pills.

Detectives followed leads involving the possession of narcotic drugs for sale. Detectives used
advanced investigative techniques to develop enough information to obtain a search warrant for a
home in Avondale, as well as a vehicle belonging to one of the suspects.

On September 21, 2022 members of the Phoenix Police Department’s Special Assignments Unit
executed the search warrants. During the search officers located more than one-million fentanyl pills.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on a number of felony
charges.

Arrested were, Francisco Delgado, 26, and Jose Molina, 21, mug shots below. Both face multiple, felony criminal charges related to the bust and are in Maricopa County jail.

Media reports say that police detectives were tipped off about the pair selling narcotic drugs. Whoever tipped off the police probably had no idea of the amount of Fentanly were stashed in their home and car, but the result is that hundreds of lives were likely saved.

The home was in the Avondale section of Phoenix.

While we appreciate the work of law enforcement, we wonder, if 1 million Fentanyl pills were taken off the streets, how many millions of Fentanly pills are flooding our neighborhoods across the country?

Was this just a drop in the bucket? We are looking for more information on both men arrested to see if they have a history of drug crimes, and if there is a connection to the Mexican Drug Cartels.
