Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today announced that the City will launch the Mayor’s Satellite Tax Office on Monday, September 27th outside of Grinton I. Will Library (1500 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10710)and Thursday, September 30th inside the Homefield House (911 Saw Mill River Rd, Yonkers, NY 10710).
The Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services, the Assessment Department and the City’s Tax Department will be available from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm both days to meet with Yonkers residents and accept City property tax payments, which are due Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
“I understand the hardship the last year has put on Yonkers residents. Therefore, our easy-to-access Mobile Tax Office is here to help all residents with any problems and provide a location that’s close to home and in your neighborhood,” said Mayor Mike Spano.
In addition to accepting tax payments, the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services will be on hand to serve as a one-stop shop for residents and offer assistance with a wide range of issues. The Office works one-on-one with residents and serves as a link between the public and city government.
