New Rochelle Police Investigate Home Invasion Robbery on Kewanee Road
The New Rochelle Police Department is actively investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of July 12, 2025, at approximately 1:25 AM. The incident took place at a residence on Kewanee Road, where a 25-year-old male victim was accosted upon returning home.
According to preliminary reports, two suspects, both armed with semi-automatic handguns, confronted the victim. The suspects assaulted the victim by pistol-whipping him and stole approximately $75,000 worth of jewelry from his person. The victim was treated for nonlifethreatening injuries.
The suspects are described as Black males, both wearing masks, possibly in their 20s or 30s Detectives believe this was a targeted incident and consider it an isolated event for the Kewanee Road neighborhood. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives working diligently to identify and apprehend the suspects.
