Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo Says ‘Stay Tuned,” but Accusers Say “Bring it On”

How many other accusers are out there? Nobody in the NY Democratic Party Thinks He Can Run for any Office Again

Karen Hinton, former employee of Governor Andrew Cuomo and one of his accusers of sexual harassment, has written a book, Penis Politics, that includes three chapters on the former Governor

Andrew Cuomo is running for Governor…against his former Lt. Governor and the current Governor of the State of New York Kathy Hochul. But he quickly finds out that his campaign is ending up more like another political victim of his own sexual improprieties-Anthony Weiner.

Cuomo is haunted by new victims that come forward after he announces his run, and by a paid actor who follows Cuomo around the state in a costume of a large scale version of a book penned by a Cuomo accuser, Karen Hinton titled Penis Politics.

This of course, is a fictitious account of what might happen if Andrew Cuomo decides to run again. And many believe that he indeed wants to run for some office again. But nobody in Westchester Democratic politics knows what that office is, nor does anyone support his return.

Andrew Cuomo, through his campaign team, sent out a press release on Jan. 9, after criminal charges stemming from sexual harassment allegations made against him were dropped. The release read “stay tuned,” alluding to another announcment coming soon. Andrew’s attorney backed up the statement with comments criticizing NY Attorney General Tish James for her handling of the investigatioins made by 11 different women, which forced Governor Cuomo out of office last year.

One of those women is Karen Hinton, author of Penis Politics. We spoke to Ms. Hinton after Cuomo came out with his “Stay Tuned” message.

“When I saw Stay Tuned, I thought, Stay Tuned to more BS, Stay Tuned for more lies, Stay Tuned for more womanizing, discrimination, harassment. Stay Tuned for more of the same. That’s what I thought,” said Hinton, whose book includes three chapters on her time on the staff of former Governor Andrew Cuomo. Her books racy title has resulted in Facebook refusing to advertise it.

“I think the book title is shocking to some, but the sexual harassment that has happened to women in politics is more shocking. Penis politics is about discrimination, harassment, misconduct, abuse and sometimes violence and rape. I have three chapters about my time with Gov. Cuomo and New York City Mayor De Blasio, the rest is about Washington DC. But its the same story, about men who for some reason want to control and dominate women who are in their lives,” said Hinton.

We asked some of our political friends in Westchster about Andrew Cuomo and what is left of his political future. Most said he has no future. “I would direct you to the comments made from Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins, State Senator Shelley Mayer, and State Senator Alessandra Biaggi, who all called for Gov. Cuomo to resign last year. They have all helped us to move on, and there’s no going back,” said one Westcheter democrat.

Another Westchester Democrat and elected official said, ‘There is no place for him to go right now, but if he waits a few years, never say never. Maybe he runs for a seat in Congress, or something not as prominent as Governor. But even that’s a long shot.”

A leader in the Westchester Democratic Party told us, “Just because no criminal charges were filed, that doesn’t mean that he is vindicated for his behavior. Bill Clinton was forgiven for his behavior thirty years ago, but times have changed. It’s an insult to the many women in NY politics for him to believe that all can be forgiven. And his attorney continues to attack Tish James for what, doing her job?”

One last Westchester elected official tolds us, “What happens if there are more accusers out there, and Andrew runs again, and they finally come out to end his political career once and for all? I’m sure some women don’t want to put their families through it, but if he runs again, isn’t he forcing them to come out? And if he ever gets on the ballot as a democrat, he will hurt other democrats on the ticket with him.”

When we asked Karen Hinton if she knew or any other women who were sexually harassed, she said, “I can’t comment on that.” When we asked her the other lingering question about Cuomo’s sexual harassment claims; Did he ever have a sexual relationship with someone in State government, or was it all the type of harassment that was investigated by the AG? “It is possible,” said Hinton, whose website is https://penis-politics.com/.

Several socia media sites claim the title, ‘Supporters of Andrew Cuomo’ and ‘We the People Support Andrew Cuomo’, but that’s all the support we can find. Cuomo does have $18 Million in his campaign coffers, but can any amount of money fix all of the wrongs?
